Look What’s Cookin’ is the theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program at the Fort Dodge Public Library. The Friends of the Library are once again sponsoring this fun program for parents and children.

Sign up begins on Monday, June 2nd and continues throughout the summer. Children will be given a reading log to record the library books they read or that have been read to them. When the log is full and the child has made four visits to our library, the log may be turned in for a special prize.

We will also hold our Annual School Reading Challenge. The Fort Dodge public or parochial school with the highest percentage of students who finish the program will receive a trophy for their school. Students grades K-5 will be counted.

We will also be having our Tuesday Morning Adventure programs again this year. This program will feature a variety of storytellers, magicians and craft times that children of all ages will enjoy.

Watch for a complete list of Adventures in early June.
See you this summer at the Fort Dodge Public Library!
